Privacy
DealStraight keeps a file so we can negotiate for you. We do not sell that file, and we do not hand it to a dealer until you approve the numbers.
What we keep
Name, email, phone, state, the vehicle you want, your notes, where the deal stands, the time it moved, documents we choose to share with you, photos you upload (license, registration, insurance, and trade), and whether the $500 fee was paid. We do not store card numbers.
Who can see it
You can see your own deal after you sign in with the same email you put on the form, including the photos you uploaded. You do not see other buyers, and you do not see our private desk notes. Those photos are not public and are not sent to a dealer unless you approve a handoff.
The desk is limited to the DealStraight account. Another person who signs in cannot open those files, even if they find the address.
Who else is involved
Google or X only to sign you in. Stripe only to take the $500 fee. Your inquiry is stored here. It is not sent to a form service or a lead marketplace.
When you approve a handoff, we tell that one licensed dealer the vehicle and the terms you approved. That is the service, and it does not happen before you say so.
How long, and how to delete it
We keep the file while the deal is open and as a record that the fee was paid. Email the address in the site footer and ask us to delete it. We remove the lead, the timeline, and any documents we shared. Stripe keeps its own payment record.
The published site is served over HTTPS. Sign-in is required before any file opens.
